GAP Training - Section 26D-Petrol and Diesel Course
Programme Overview
GAP Training - Section 26D-Petrol and Diesel Course
The ARPL: GAP Training for Section 26D (Petrol/Diesel) is designed to prepare learners for the Automotive Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) assessment. This course bridges the gap between existing skills and the competencies required to meet industry standards. Learners will engage in practical and theoretical training focused on key areas such as engine diagnostics, fuel systems, and emission control. The course is tailored to ensure that all participants are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the ARPL assessment, ultimately leading to certification as a qualified artisan in the petrol or diesel trades.
The course covers twelve core lessons as seen in your index:
- Lesson 1-3: Foundational power (Battery), final drives (Differential), and diesel-specific delivery (Diesel Fuel Injection).
- Lesson 4-6: Handling and accuracy (Wheel Alignment, Measuring Equipment, and Steering Box).
